VELA Necklace
Description
Soft green angelite forms the spine of Vela — a necklace named for wind and sails, movement and stillness. These stones carry a cool, chalky calm: mineral-toned, matte, quietly luminous. Their surface recalls tide-washed glass or the inside of a seashell.
Strung by hand in our Grand Rapids studio, Vela is made for those who find clarity in restraint. Its curved silhouette feels sculptural, pared back, elemental. Meant to be worn with instinct — layered or alone, day or night.
Every stone holds variation — some cloudy, some clear — an unrepeatable rhythm that makes each piece one-of-one.
To protect its structure, Vela should be kept dry and stored with care. Avoid contact with water, fragrance, or extended sun exposure to preserve the silk thread and stone’s surface.
